This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and relevant rules and amendments applicable under Indian laws concerning electronic records. It is generated by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures.
This document is published and should be interpreted in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, which mandates the publication of the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and user agreement for access or use of the Lukrain Furniture website.
User Agreement
Your use of www.lukrain.in and all related web pages, hyper-links, tools, and services provided (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”) is governed by the following terms and conditions (“User Agreement”). This User Agreement becomes effective upon each visit or use of the Website, or upon your registration or provision of any information on the Website. In this User Agreement, you are contracting with Lukrain Furniture Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, with its registered office at [Address], hereinafter referred to as “the Platform.”
For the purpose of this User Agreement, “Registered User,” “Visitor,” and wherever applicable, “You” shall refer to any individual or entity who has agreed to become a member of the Website by providing registration details during the registration process or who uses the Website without registering, and, in both cases, has accepted this electronic version/electronic record of the User Agreement. A Registered User is someone who has created a unique identification username (“User ID” and “Password”) to become a Registered User. The term “You” includes your legal representatives, successors, and permitted assigns.
As a Registered User, this User Agreement is binding upon your ‘acceptance.’ “Acceptance” means your affirmative action of clicking on the ‘check box,’ ‘continue’ button, or any similar action provided on the registration page or using or accessing the Website through logging in with your third-party website user ID and password (such as from www.facebook.com, Yahoo Inc., Google Inc., Twitter, or any other permitted social media website) or by using the Website in any manner, with or without your User ID and Password. If you do not agree to the terms of this User Agreement, please do not click on the ‘check box’ or ‘continue’ button and do not seek to access or use the Website.
Amendments to the User Agreement
The Platform may amend this User Agreement at any time by posting a revised version on the Website. The revised version will be effective upon posting. You are advised to regularly check for any amendments or updates to the terms and conditions of this User Agreement.
Important Disclaimers
The following disclaimers are critical in determining the relationship between you and the Platform regarding your use of the Website and the services provided:
The Platform and its suppliers, affiliates, and service providers offer the Website and services on an “as is” basis and without any warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the Website is at your own risk.
The responsibility for the accuracy of product declarations on the Platform rests with you.
The Platform, its affiliates, and service providers do not make any representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content or information provided by merchants for their products. The Platform does not guarantee that the Website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Personal information may be stored and processed by third-party service providers in jurisdictions with varying data protection standards. The Platform does not guarantee the protection of personal information by these third parties.
Electronic Communications
When you use the Website or communicate through email or other digital means, you agree to receive communications via electronic records (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, App Push) from the Website, Platform, and other users. The registration data and email ID provided will be considered your designated electronic address for communication purposes.
By accepting this User Agreement, you also agree to be bound by the Platform’s various policies as provided through hyperlinks on the Website.
Membership Eligibility
The Website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Persons who are “incompetent to contract,” such as minors or un-discharged insolvents, are not eligible to use the Website. If you are a minor, transactions must be conducted by a legal guardian or parent. The Platform reserves the right to terminate membership and access if you are found to be underage or otherwise “incompetent to contract.” If registering on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind the entity to this User Agreement.
Membership Benefits
As a registered member of Lukrain Furniture, your address, email ID, and other details are saved in the “My Account” section, accessible only to you. You can track orders, save items in “My Wishlist,” and receive updates on new products and promotional offers if you opt for email updates.
Your Account and Registration Obligations
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User ID and Password and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for providing false or incomplete information.
You grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to use your information in any media now known or developed in the future.
Fees and Services
Membership and browsing on the Website are free. However, the Platform may charge a nominal fee for order fulfilment services provided through third-party service providers. Any additional fees will be visible on the checkout page.
Taxes
You are responsible for paying all applicable fees and taxes related to the use of the Website.
Use of the Website
The Platform and the Website provide services to users and act as a passive conduit for content. You agree not to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, or share any information that is harmful, defamatory, obscene, unlawful, or infringes on the rights of others. You also agree not to upload viruses or harmful code, or engage in activities that threaten the integrity of the Website.
By using the Website, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and to refrain from actions that could harm the Platform or its users.
2. Prohibited Actions
You must not, either directly or indirectly, offer or attempt to offer, trade or attempt to trade in any item that is restricted or banned under any current laws, rules, regulations, or guidelines. You must not create any liability for the Platform or cause it to lose or disrupt the services provided by its service providers or suppliers.
You must not link to, describe, or include items, goods, or services that are prohibited by the User Agreement or any other relevant laws, such as the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, or the Information Technology Act, 2000, including its amendments and related rules.
According to the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, the Platform reserves the right to immediately terminate user access or usage rights and remove non-compliant information if rules and regulations are violated. This right is in addition to any other remedies available to the Platform under this User Agreement, applicable laws, or tort law.
Compliance with Laws
You must ensure full compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its rules, as well as all applicable laws, including tax laws and regulations, concerning your use of the Platform. If you list an item as “Antiquity” or “Art treasure” under the relevant Act, you must declare it as “non-exportable” and ensure it is not delivered outside India.
Role of the Platform
The Website serves as a venue for users to connect and conduct transactions. The Platform is not a party to or in control of these transactions. All commercial and contractual terms, including price, shipping costs, payment methods, and delivery terms, are agreed upon between buyers and sellers. The Platform does not involve itself in these terms and provides transaction support services as per its policies.
The Platform is not liable for any non-performance or breach of contracts between users. It does not guarantee or ensure that transactions will be completed. The Platform does not mediate or resolve disputes between users, nor does it endorse or make any representations about the attributes of items or services on the Website.
Accuracy of Information
The Platform does not control user-provided information and is not responsible for offensive or deceptive content. The Platform’s role is limited to providing a communication system and not to initiating or modifying information transmissions. The correctness of product declarations is your responsibility.
Privacy
The Platform collects and uses your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you consent to this collection and use.
Payment Facility
The Platform may partner with third-party payment providers to facilitate transactions and collect fees. These providers include banks, credit card gateways, and other payment services authorized by the Reserve Bank of India.
Breach of Terms
In case of a breach of the User Agreement or related policies, the Platform may limit your activity, remove information, suspend or terminate your membership, or refuse access to the Website. The Platform may reinstate suspended users at its discretion and take legal action to recover amounts due.
Selling
You must legally be able to sell the items listed on the Website, ensuring they do not infringe on intellectual property rights. Listings must be accurate and items in stock. Misleading descriptions must be corrected, and you are responsible for providing accurate product information and complying with relevant regulations.
Brand Protection Policy
Lukrain.com, as an intermediary, does not control the products sold but may remove content if it violates policies or laws. To report intellectual property infringements, provide detailed information to grievanceofficer@Lukrain.com. Lukrain will act to remove infringing content within one working day if ownership and infringement are verified.
Limitation of Liability
Lukrain and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Website or its services. The liability is limited to the Platform Fees for sellers or efforts to refund buyers.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the Platform and its affiliates from any claims, demands, or penalties arising from breaches of the User Agreement or violations of laws or third-party rights.
General Terms
The User Agreement does not create a partnership or agency relationship. If any clause is deemed invalid, it will not affect the remaining clauses. The Platform may transfer its rights and obligations under the Agreement without your consent but may provide advance notice if practicable.

Governing Law
The User Agreement and your use of the Website are governed by Indian laws.
Arbitration
Disputes related to the Website or User Agreement will be resolved through arbitration in Mumbai, in English, under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Your payment obligations continue during arbitration.
E-Coupons
E-Coupons are offered by sellers and not the Platform. They can be used for discounts or credits but cannot be combined with other offers and are not transferable. The Platform reserves the right to change or withdraw E-Coupons and may charge fees for processing them.
Other Terms & Conditions:
- You should be logged in as a Registered User of Lukrain.com in order to use and avail the benefits of the E – coupons which are mapped to your User ID. Orders without logged-in status maybe cancelled.
- The offers/E-Coupons/Lukrain Promotions are valid only for genuine customers who have received direct communication, in any form or manner, of such offer/E-Coupon/Lukrain Promotion. Lukrain reserves the right to cancel any orders placed by registered users using an E-Coupon, which is not directly communicated to the customer in any form or manner.
- Lukrain reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decide whether a customer is/was eligible to use an E- Coupon or not for the order placed.
- An E- coupons can be used by a customer only once.
- Offer will not be applicable on certain items and Gift Cards.
- Lukrain reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude certain items from the Offers/E-Coupons/Lukrain Promotions offer, without prior intimation or communication.
- Lukrain reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel any order where it suspects the misuse of E – Coupons by using unlawful, unethical means, incorrect user information/details, duplicate emails, mobile numbers or addresses. The decision of Lukrain will be final and binding in this respect.
- Lukrain reserve the right, at its sole discretion, at any time to amend/change the terms and conditions of any E – Coupons and/or Lukrain Promotions and/or offers provided thereunder.
- Any B2B orders under this offer will be cancelled. The decision of Lukrain will be final and binding in this respect.

Lukrain Credits Terms and Conditions:
- The Lukrain credits are only provided on Confirmed Orders.
- Lukrain credits if it’s a cashback can be used to redeem up to 10% of the order value.
- Lukrain promotional credits can be used to redeemed up to 10% of the product value.
- All unutilized cashback credits upon expiry become invalid and cannot be refunded.
- Lukrain Cashback Credits used up in orders cannot be refunded.
- Lukrain reserves the right, at its sole discretion, at any time to extend or reduce the validity of Lukrain credits, without prior intimation or communication.
- Lukrain reserves the right, at its sole discretion, at any time to cancel any or all Lukrain credits already provided on Confirmed Orders, without prior intimation or communication.
Disclaimers
The Platform is not responsible for any typographical error leading to an invalid coupon. Platform does not guarantee that any one or more listings on the Website or the desired listings of the Users would have E-Coupon as the payment option. Platform is neither recommending you to purchase the specific item which you intend to purchase or actually purchase using E-Coupons, nor is the Platform is warranting or endorsing any product or services listed on the Website, nor warranting or verifying or guaranteeing the performance or conduct of any seller or of any third party. Platform shall not be liable for any lost or stolen E-Coupons and E-Coupons once issued shall not be reissued. Platform makes no representation or warranties of any kind regarding any product or service provided by any third party in connection with any E-Coupon and shall not be responsible for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of E-Coupons.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Platform’s liability exceed giving the User a replacement E-Coupon of the same nature and of the same value. These terms and conditions are subject to Indian laws and any dispute shall be subject to jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai (India) only.
EXCHANGE OF FURNITURE
Any furniture items purchased as part of the Furniture Exchange Program (“Exchange Program”) (available in select Studios only) shall be subject to the following additional terms and conditions:
- Exchange is available only for products that fall in the same category (“Like for Like Exchange”).
For example:
- A bed can be exchanged for another bed;
- A sofa can be exchanged for another sofa;
- A wardrobe cannot be exchanged for a dining table.
- Like for Like Exchange is available only for the following categories:
- Beds;
- Sofas / recliners / sectionals / sofa-cum-beds;
- Dining sets;
- Wardrobes.
- Customer agrees to share 2 clear images of the item that they are offering in exchange at the time of booking the order at Studio Lukrain. The Customer shall ensure that the product offered for pick-up matches with such images.
- Delivery and assembly (if required) of the items purchased from Lukrain shall precede the pick-up of the item offered for exchange. Lukrain shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that pick-up is done within 10 business days from the date of delivery of the items purchased from Lukrain. In case multiple items are purchased, the date of delivery of the last item shall be considered.
- In exceptional circumstances, subject to Lukrain’s sole and absolute discretion, pick-up of the items offered for exchange shall precede the delivery and assembly of items purchased from Lukrain. In such cases, even if the Customer is dissatisfied with the items purchased by Lukrain for any reason whatsoever, the item picked up for exchange (or its value) shall not be returned to the Customer.
- Items once picked up shall not be returned to the Customer in any circumstances whatsoever.
LUKRAIN BESPOKE
The Terms and Conditions laid down here shall be exclusively applicable for Lukrain Bespoke Services and shall be read together with the existing Terms of Use and other policies as stated on our website www.lukrain.in (“Website”) and as applicable from time to time. Lukrain, in affiliation with highly skilled and expert Civil Works Merchants and Modular Merchants (“Bespoke Merchants”), is excited and pleased to announce its new endeavour in the form of “Lukrain Bespoke” effective from October 29, 2018. Under the Lukrain Bespoke, project management services shall be provided by our Bespoke Merchants, facilitated by Lukrain. Expert design consultants shall provide tailor-made design solutions based on customer requirements, on behalf of the Bespoke Merchants and the execution of the Project shall be undertaken by the Bespoke Merchants.
Kinds of Services provided under Lukrain Bespoke
- On site work and project management services
Civil Works Merchant’s execution expertise in conjunction with expert interior designers will help customers to realise their dream home into reality. Everything needed to create the customer’s beautiful home i.e. from space designing, planning, budget planning, material selection, on-site execution, delivery and installation to project management, will be provided under these services. With personal designers, world class execution partners and the largest brand tie-ups, Lukrain will endeavour that the customer’s expectations are met by the services delivered by the Civil Works Merchants. The Civil Works Merchants are capable to undertake activities, including but not limited to, civil works, plumbing, electrical work, painting. - Modular furniture
Work with expert designers to design and create a perfect modular kitchen and wardrobe. Modular Merchants provide a wide range of colours and materials to choose from, for the purpose of customising the modular furniture as per the customer’s needs and manufactured to utmost perfection. Modular Merchant’s modular offering meets global quality standards, comes with hassle-free delivery, installation and backed with years of warranties. - Loose Furniture and decor
Lukrain is the leader as a marketplace for the furniture and home décor segment in India. With Lukrain’s unparalleled portfolio of curated furniture listings and home décor product listings, customers do not need to go anywhere else. Lukrain has the largest range of products listings, to suit any décor or furniture requirements. All products come with delivery, installation services and post-purchase warranties.
LUKRAIN BESPOKE JOURNEY
- Filling of Inquiry Forms
Interested customers shall be required to fill in the details in the form that is available on the dedicated webpage of Lukrain for the purpose of availing these services. Lukrain’s representative shall reach out to the customers pursuant to such submission of inquiry forms. - Free consultation and designing services:
Lukrain shall connect the customer to an expert bespoke consultant, who shall provide free consultation and designing services, basis the requirements and preferences as shared by customers. It is recommended that customers carry the floor plan, any reference images and have open discussions with the bespoke consultants. After the consultation, the bespoke consultant will share a brief that captures the discussed requirements. - Design and Concept Pitch:
The bespoke consultant will provide the customers with different concepts and designs digitally, basis requirements of the customer and layout of the premises shared by the customer, with a view to optimize the customer’s premises. These designs will be supported by mood boards that have references to designs, colours and materials, to give the customer a preliminary idea about how their home will look upon execution of the work. In addition to the design concepts, a tentative quote will be shared by Lukrain for the discussed scope of work, on behalf of the Bespoke Merchants. - Acceptance of the provisional concept and design:
Basis the designs and quote shared on behalf of the Civil Works Merchants, the customer shall have the option to accept the provisional scope of work/provisional concept and design by remitting a certain percentage as an advance, as mentioned in the payment schedule below. In case of Modular Furniture, the customer shall have the option to accept the order and confirm the order basis the provisional scope of work /provisional concept and design, by remitting a certain percentage as an advance, as mentioned in the payment schedule below - Material selection:
Upon acceptance by the customer of the provisional design and remittance of the advance as stated above, the bespoke consultant will help the customers find the right materials that fit in the preferred style and budget of the customer. Lukrain works closely with the best brands in the industry, so all the materials are backed with warranties and are competitively priced. - Acceptance of detailed finalised designs:
The bespoke consultant will create finalised designs based on the customer’s feedback and material preferences. The finalised designed will be accompanied with BOQ (Bill of Quantities) which shall have the exact details of the scope of work, actual site quantities and project value. The customer shall have the option to accept the finalised scope of work and BOQ by remitting a certain percentage as an advance, as mentioned in the payment schedule below. - Execution of Service Agreement:
Upon acceptance by the customer of the finalised BOQs and scope of work and remittance of the advance as stated above, the customer shall be required to execute a Service Agreement with the Bespoke Merchant for execution of the works. The Service Agreement shall have the detailed work schedules and remittance timelines. - On site execution and project management:
Post the execution of the Service Agreement, the onsite execution by the Bespoke Merchant shall be commenced. During the course of execution, the customer shall be regularly updated on the progress via Lukrain’s PM tool, calls and site meetings. The Civil Works Merchant shall appoint a Site Supervisor to supervise the day to day execution of the project. There shall be stringent quality checks by Lukrain at various milestones to ensure a good finish. - Modular Furniture:
The modular furniture shall be manufactured with automated machinery and high standards of quality. Lukrain’s delivery and installation experts will deliver and install the modular furniture with stringent quality standards in a timely manner, on behalf of the Modular Merchant . - Furniture and decor:
The bespoke consultants will assist the customer to choose from the comprehensive product offerings available on the website to compliment the design and style preferences of the customer. - Site Handover:
Pursuant to execution of the scope of work, the site will be handed over by the Bespoke Merchants to the customer. Such site handover shall be accompanied by a site handover acknowledgement duly signed off by the Bespoke Civil Merchant, the customer and Lukrain as a confirming party. - Completion of Project:
The services hereunder shall be deemed to be completed on the date of completion of 3 months from the date of the site handover. The customer may approach Lukrain for any service related issue during such span of 3 months.
Payment Schedule
The customer shall be responsible to make timely remittance as per the schedule given below for the various services provided under the Lukrain Bespoke to the customer.
- For Civil Works Project:
- On acceptance of provisional design and concept – 10% of project value
- On acceptance of final design, BOQs and scope of work – 40% of project value
- 50% project completed – 50% of project value
- For Modular Furniture:
- Order confirmation – 10% of project value
- Before commencement of manufacturing of Modular Furniture – 40% of project value
- Completion of manufacturing of the Modular Furniture but before delivery of the Modular Furniture – 50% of project value
- For Modular Furniture:
As per the payment model selected by the customer i.e. COD or prepaid.
General Terms and Conditions:
- The customer shall be responsible for providing true and correct information to the design consultant and the Bespoke Merchants. Neither Lukrain nor the Bespoke Merchants shall be responsible for any inadequate or incorrect deliverables due to misleading or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
- The Bespoke Merchants shall not be facilitating any services directly for the customer without Lukrain’s knowledge during the term of the project. The customer shall not approach the Bespoke Merchants without the knowledge of Lukrain.
- The customer and the Bespoke Merchants shall be responsible for adhering to all the terms and conditions as stated in the Service Agreement along with the SOPs, guidelines and other policies of Lukrain.
- Lukrain reserves the sole right to modify or withdraw, fully or partially, the benefits offered under this initiative, without any prior notice, from time to time. Lukrain reserves the right to extend or restrict the scope of this initiative to various locations in India.
- Lukrain shall not be liable for any kind of direct or indirect as well as financial or non-financial liabilities which may arise in the future due to, including but not limited to, customer complaints, deficiency in services, misleading information etc. under this initiative.
- The customer shall be responsible to make timely remittance as per the payment schedule mentioned above. Delay in remittance by the customer will entitle the Bespoke Merchants to stop the work. Any delay in project completion or costs incurred due to such delayed remittance by the customer shall solely be the responsibility of the customer. Neither Lukrain nor the Bespoke Merchants shall be held accountable by the customer for such delays or increased costs.
- The customer shall not be entitled to cancel the Order once the detailed finalised design, scope of work and BOQs are duly approved by the customer and the customer remits 40% of the project value as an act of Confirmation of the Order. The customer shall not be entitled to any refund once the customer remits 40% of the project value as an act of Confirmation of the Order. This is applicable for Modular Furniture as well as Onsite Work and Project Management Services.
- In the event the Customer does not wish to proceed with confirmation of the order, Lukrain shall be entitled to retain a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the consideration (10% of the estimated project value) remitted by the customer as an act of acceptance of the provisional design and concept. The cancellation fee is applicable for the Modular Furniture as well as Onsite Work and Project Management Services.
- Lukrain neither warrants the services provided by the Bespoke Merchants nor extends any kind of implied or explicit guarantees/warranties in relation to the services/ products rendered under this initiative.
- Our team strives to provide accurate scope and pricing information in the BOQ’s shared with you, but there could be, pricing errors or typographical errors. We cannot confirm the total cost of the project until after the Confirmation of the Order and we have done a thorough site survey. There could be variations in the cost based on site conditions and changes/additions in the scope.
- All payments are linked to the final project value as proposed in the BOQ and the difference between estimates and BOQ will be adjusted when the Order is booked.
- Any additions or changes in the scope will be treated as a sub-project and the payments for the same will be made as per the payment milestones.
- The engagement of a Bespoke Consultant for your project is subject to a payment of 10% of your estimated project value. The Order can only be booked in our system on receipt of 40% payment.
- Lukrain is not responsible for the delays in delivery, quality of materials and omissions by the Bespoke Merchants of loose furniture and home décor products.
- Every service and product provided herein shall be covered by the brand warranties as provided by the Bespoke Merchant.
- The customer expressly consents to receive all communications from Lukrain through email and SMS and agree to give timely approvals for the same. The failure to do so can lead to project delays.
- Before confirming of the Order under this initiative, the customer will be responsible to check the scope, description and costing before signing off the same as an act of acceptance.
- The colours, finishes and textures that appear on the 3D views are only for representational purpose and may vary slightly from the actual fitting.
- All material samples shall be confirmed and signed off by the customer before placing the Order of the same.
- The customer and Bespoke Merchants agree that Lukrain reserves the intellectual property rights on design briefs, drawings, design proposals, presentations etc. created for the project and all site photos, client reviews and comments.
- The customer may not otherwise contact the Bespoke Merchants that they meet though the Lukrain Bespoke project separately for any other purpose which would result in the customer barred from Lukrain Bespoke for future projects.
- The procurement of permissions and/or statutory approvals if any, will be the responsibility of the customer.
- The customer shall be responsible to designate a Lead Person in writing to Lukrain. All approvals will be procured from such Lead Person. To avoid any miscommunication, the designer will only coordinate with such Lead Person. The customer agrees that all communications made to the Lead Person by Lukrain shall be deemed to be made to the customer and consents provided by such Lead Person to Lukrain shall be binding on the customer. Neither Lukrain nor the Bespoke Merchants shall be responsible to inform the customer of any such communications or confirmations provided by the Lead Person in case the customer and the Lead Person are different.
- The customer acknowledges that Lukrain does not encourage direct negotiations between the material vendors for better deals by the customer. In case such activity is undertaken by the customer, timely delivery and quality of material for the same shall be the responsibility of the customer. Any implications on the project completion timelines or project value due to such acts of the customers, shall be the customer’s responsibility.
